None Required. A Louisiana Notary’s signature is the seal. However, a Notary Public is not prohibited from using a notary seal. If a Louisiana Notary opts to use a seal / stamp, it should at least contain the Notary’s name, the words “Notary Public,” “State of Louisiana” and “Parish of ____.”
Ink color should be capable of being reproduced clearly by black / white scan, photocopy or other visible and legible means.
